Ask an Architect

Ask an Architect is an interactive game of culinary precision that has been presented as part of special events at the Canadian Centre for Architecture and at the Livart Gallery in Montreal, and then in several event spaces for private clients between 2016 and 2023.

It features a giant structure that is made up of numbered building materials and kitchen accessories that are filled with food.

The experience consists of dismantling the structure in an orderly fashion, one piece at a time, then reassembling the ingredients to recreate signature recipes that are scattered across different socializing stations.

Participatory and collaborative, it requires social skills to eat well and, above all, to seek advice from an architect so as to not knock everything down.
